‘Eye Of The Storm’ was written for anyone who has been eager for a storm to pass, and it's paired with a modern yet nostalgic 80s electro-rock sound. As a child raised in the midwestern state of Illinois, storms were frequent. The lyrics were inspired by the time I was waiting to go swimming and to kill time I watched an animated Spiderman DVD. Now in my early 20s, I have grown to get some storm anxiety. I wanted to pair these scenarios with a modern yet nostalgic 80s track rooted in the alternative, and electro-rock genres. I’m super excited to roll out my 3rd single in my modern 80s style project.
